The rest of…the Wharf

Finished off the Wharf today in my hour-long walk…getting closer to the desired daily 10,000 steps! Started at Taylor and went through Aquatic Park and out to the pier. The advantage of wearing flip flops is getting to get the toes in sand and sea (or Bay!)

Going to be a beautiful day!

Wharf and Piers

Walked the opposite direction outta Sts. Peter and Paul today, straight down Powell. Strolled Pier 43 past the World War II liberty ships, through the Musee Mechanique and down Hyde Street Pier before turning around for home. A good hour’s walk.

Telegraph Hill

Took off from Ss. Peter and Paul with no real destination in mind and basically zig-zagged the streets on our side of Telegraph Hill.

Climbed a staircase on Montgomery that I’d never noticed before…

Art Institute, Fay Park & Crooked Street

Pop the laundry in and in 32 minutes, you can take in some of SF’s loveliest (and most loved) spots on foot! How blessed are we to live at the Intersection of Russian Hill and North Beach?

There’s a legit Diego Rivera steps away from our door!

And 360 degrees of views to die for!

Labyrinth at Land’s End

Met my friend Hannah for lunch at Louie’s at Land’s End (I was good…Greek salad with Bay shrimp) and we decided to go for a walk afterwards. My friend Terri had mentioned visiting a labyrinth out that way, so I texted her for directions. It was a hike!

Mitchell’s

I walked to this SF ice cream icon along Guerrero from ICA today, but stayed true to not carrying money so I wouldn’t be tempted to buy! Returned along Dolores. More pretty houses and flowers and a good hill to climb on the backside of today’s 30 minute walk.

Panhandle

I love walking around the Panhandle: nice and flat, interesting people watching, Victorian houses, and beautiful trees, like cyprus:20140727-190533-68733317.jpg,
eucalyptus:
