Walked Stratford to West 20th to Alameda de las Pulgas to 22nd and back to Mary’s court.

Substituted a water walk for a watering hole walk. LOL. End of a long first week and a long First Friday.
Eddy to Polk to Sutter;
Sutter to Gough and back to the Cathedral.

Finally got my sunrise walk!

I’m choosing to think of the fog as God closely extending a hug around me, us, the earth. It gets me going in the morning to think positive like that.
And at the end of the day, fog at Ocean Beach is still time to bask in the Pacific Ocean, with the salty smells and crashing waves.
And since a trip to the bathroom is inevitable at the end of the day, it’s so easy to pop into Beach Chalet and admire the murals!

Was trying to see if I can circumnavigate Lloyd Lake in GGpark today, but got foiled by the Outside Lands clean-up effort. So, I opted for the North lake in the Chain (closest to 43rd and Fulton, which moves swiftly in the 3pm hour!)
A great walk and I found myself communing with the birders…one guy was very excited to show me his kingfisher photo, since she wasn’t visible to the naked eye.

Second post today, but trying to establish some new routines, including spending some water time after school each day, either:
Marina
Crissy Field
Baker Beach
Land’s End
Golden Gate Park: Spreckels Lake
Golden Gate Park: Chain of Lakes
Ocean Beach
(New) Sunset Dunes Park
Thornton State Beach
Or today’s quick spot (since I left school late and already have my 10k!): Lake Merced.
10 options: a 2-week cycle! Plus, there’s always Pacifica on the other side of home.

Taking a break from prepping my classroom to grab lunch (green beans, green salad) and take my daily stroll. This is the spot!

I reviewed all my former blogposts this morning—lots of memories on and around Filbert Street. But we have moved to lovely Larchmont and today’s post features some of our flora and fauna (not the noisy coyotes!). Trying to do a sunrise (approx) and sunset (with T after dinner) walk on our block each day.

After a long hiatus, I’m motivated once again to get walking for my health.
Today we explored 2 new (to me) spots in San Mateo while James was at his first Saturday football practice:
(1)Crystal Springs Regional Trail (South of Dam Segment), which was paved, flat, and shorter than expected, so we also went to
(2)Beresford Park near Serra, which had lovely roses and redwoods
